Due to relocation, we're searching for a Branch Manager to oversee our Elk Grove Village operation!

Our Chicago Branch Manager, who oversees U.S. Customs Brokerage and Logistics operations, ensures smooth flow and accurate completion of work resulting in a compliant and profitable operation.
Provides quality customer service by meeting customers' needs, resolving customer problems, maintaining contact with regular customers, and ensuring timely deliveries.
May handle specific duties including: reviewing all entries prior to Customs submittal, processing post entry work, processing customer billing, handling collections, and paying invoices. Facilitates timely and accurate completion of operational duties and management projects. Stays up-to-date on all customs changes. Manages multiple lines of business.
Manages a dynamic mid-sized office. May supervise a seven day, twenty-four hour operation.
Advances effective strategies to develop and pursue new business prospects.
Recommends measures to improve quality of service, increase efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
Responsibly manages and develops the department’s budget and business plan.
Generates a team environment to help motivate direct reports to optimize their performance and professional growth by hiring qualified employees, providing ongoing training and conducting effective performance management, which may include terminations.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of education and experience. Minimum of seven years of customs brokerage. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
Extensive knowledge of A.N.D. policies and procedures and U.S. Customs regulations and supporting actions. Transportation/export/warehouse/NVOCC experiences a plus. May require knowledge of export licensing requirements to include HAZMAT and munitions. Willingness to sign a non-compete/non-disclosure agreement. Travel, up to 15%, required.
