The Education Consultant is responsible for the design, development and facilitation of product training programs for the Experian Decision Analytics (DA) sales team. In this role, you will work regularly with Product Managers, Sales Leaders and the Curriculum Development Manager to assess training needs, establish course learning objectives, and develop and execute appropriate training strategies for new and enhanced product rollouts. Once a new course has been fully developed, you will then oversee the rollout and facilitation of each course through both product webinars, and instructor-led training sessions in our Costa Mesa facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
? Partners closely with Product Managers and Sales Leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement DA related initiatives that improve business performance
? Determines appropriate training strategy needed to drive sales revenue efforts for all products across Decision Analytics (DA)
? Designs product training content and collateral materials while ensuring alignment with Experian's sales processes, core sales methodologies and brand standards
? Develops and launches course testing to evaluate participants post program knowledge as well as the effectiveness of all DA product training programs
? Remains current on new and enhanced product details and makes appropriate updates to existing training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
? Supports the onboarding of newly hired DA sales professionals through the development and communication of customized training plans
? 3-5 years of relevant experience in instructional design with extensive knowledge of adult learning principles. Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
? Must be effective at conducting needs assessment conversations with Sales Leaders to gain an understand of training needs and then independently design a training curriculum based on findings.
? Experience creating engaging training course content using a combination of learning approaches and modalities (videos, quizzes, and experiential activities).
? Proficient experience in e-Learning platforms, authoring applications and learning management systems (LMS) required. Experience in the following (or equivalent) programs necessary: WebEx, Articulate, Camtasia, Publisher and Adobe Illustrator.
? Must have experience facilitating product training webinars and managing classroom-based training events (preferably for a sales audience).
? Experience in creating, administering and managing course evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
? Strong analytical, project management skills. Must be able to follow set procedures with a strong attention to details.
? Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
? Ability to quickly form relationships across departments and work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders.
? Proactive, self-starter who must be able to work both independently (40%) and collaboratively with team members (60%)
? Strong knowledge of financial services/lending industry preferred.
? Expert in using Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to travel (up to 25%)
