Job Description

This position is responsible for allaspects of a client relationship. The qualifiedcandidate should also supervise multiple projects and team members. Otherresponsibilities include global communication, offering counsel to team membersand allocating agency resources to match client budgets. The position alsoneeds to be involved in some new business development

Primary Responsibilities
Client

- Keep all programs on schedule andensure all deadliness are met

- Structure long term plans and programrecommendations

- Plan and implement programmes; forecastand manage budgets, profitability and receivables for new and existing clients

- Proactively handle client problemsquickly and adeptly

- Serve as senior contact for client
Media

- Develop media relations strategies anddeliver results (focus on Home Deco/lifestyle/fashion/Sports media), especially for mediahead and industry KOL.

- Drive the development of appropriatepublic relations strategies and programs

- Be familiar with the industry's issuesthat directly and indirectly affect the client

- Demonstrate a well-developed knowledgeof client relevant media (Home Deco/lifestyle/fashion/Sports media)

- Generate ideas for media outreach andpitch efforts

Writing

- Strong ability to develop releases,customer profiles, bylined articles, and other press materials

- Work with administration and staff togenerate letters of agreement, contracts and strategic project plans forcurrent and new clients

- Accountable for quality control andfinal review of all letters, memos, meeting reports, and client materials

- Instruct staff in the area of writingand editing

- Native Chinese speaker with excellentwritten and spoken English.

Team Management

- Act as key contact for internal accountstaff to address issues

- Make account assignments
- Train and motivate team members
- Manage account staff group profitability
- Conduct performance reviews

- Create opportunities for team members toenhance growth with agency

- Track team results against client'sgoals

- Attend account reviews and staffmeetings – provide ongoing communications and feedback

- Ensure account team members adhere toagency time reporting and financial guidelines

New Business Development

- Actively participate in new businessinitiatives including taking a key role in research and scooping of newbusiness opportunities as requested.

Qualifications
Professional Experience

5-8 years related professional experience,media backgrounder preferred esp. in lifestyle.
