About the position
We're looking for a creative designleader who's eager to bring thought provoking, graphic solutions to thisfast-paced environment.
The SeniorGraphic Designer will play a hands-on design role and will be responsible forcollaborating with our marketing team, across the globe to create designsolutions for the overall concept and execution of assigned projects, and willbring to life the brand through all types of media with speed and conviction.Above all they must have a passion for making exceptional, ground breaking workin an incredibly fast paced environment, bringinginnovative ideas to life with superior creativity and a keen awareness ofarchitectural design. Applicants should demonstrate experience in designing materialsincluding brochures, design portfolios, tradeshow materials, presentations,proposal graphics, infographics, architectural graphics, and above all,editorial layouts and social media. Beyond the requiredtechnical design skills, applications are expected to ensure quality controlthrough approval of proofs, strong communication skills, press checks andtesting. There is also opportunity to travel to other HDR offices to workwith project teams.
Bachelor's degree inGraphic Design or combination of education and relevant experience
5 years of professionalgraphic design experience preferably producing print and multimedia/interactivecommunications using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint
Experience inAfterEffects and in front-end HTML and CSS is a plus
Ability to performeffectively under constant production deadlines
An understanding ofbranding/brand development, communications and research
An attitude andcommitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is amust
