Summary:
To instruct and lead participants based upon program guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Performing Arts/Dance Aides are needed for the Park District of Highland Park's Performing Arts and Dance programs. Aide’s will be responsible for assisting in the instruction of Performing Arts, Dance, Early Childhood and Performing Arts combo programs, and coordinating the summer camp performances.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
One to three years related experience and/or training in the Performing Arts and/or Dance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Dance or Performing Arts programs and clubs, backstage and stage set up, Recital or Play production and arrangement, dance or performing arts instruction, directing, creative writing, and production management experience preferred.

Classification (Hours): Part-Time. Year Round. This is a part-time position with up to 15 hours per week (hours vary seasonally). Must have availability Saturdays and Sundays, as well as nights weekly.

Wage Range: $10.00/hour minimum, depending on experience
