Role Summary/Purpose:

As a member of the Account Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring cohesive, thoughtful progress across internal and external work streams for client relationships. This requires an understanding of relationship dynamics, strategic planning capabilities, and proven expertise in account management. A member of Account Management is responsible for engaging with a wide variety of cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure delivery and execution of contractual obligations, client satisfaction and renewed relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities vary greatly and ultimately being accountable for client success and growth. This individual is intellectually curious, has excellent communication and writing skills, and has a strong willingness to learn and apply knowledge creatively. Ultimately, this person is a self-driven leader who can lead cross-functional teams and hold teams accountable.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and manages account relationships and strategic point of accountability. Acquire and develop long-term relationships with key strategic new and existing clients.
  • Provide strategic value beyond day-to-day account management in the form of strategic thought leadership in the mobile and retail space.
  • Demonstrate ability to navigate client organizations to support GPShopper efforts.
  • Build trusted relationships internally; influence and collaborate across various functions
  • Lead client communications and expectation setting
  • Drive client QBRs including deck preparation and presentation.
  • Drive strategy through client by defining, measuring and executing on mobile strategy goals and added value.
  • Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape. Review public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business plan to address customer and prospects priorities and pain points. Utilize benchmarking and ROI data to support the customer’s decision process. Oversee and strive for flawless execution of plans.
  • Work with mid-level  clients to define client (and GPShopper) KPIs. Prepare reporting on an ongoing basis that includes knowledge of digital analytics programs, ability to create meaningful insights, and deliver quality presentations.
  • Support and contribute to GPShopper company initiatives by leading task forces internally to drive operational excellence. Partner with internal, cross-functional teams.
  • Drive an internal client-first culture through the GPShopper organization via communications and leadership.
  • Contribute to sales pitches and revenue goals where appropriate.
  • Ability to lead teams and direct clients in crisis or urgent situations with without panic and  with levelheaded direction.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in related field and at least 3 years of experience in agency, professional services or system integration or other customer-focused role
  • At least 2 years experience managing complex client relationships
  • At least 2 years experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in delivering formal communications to either senior business leaders or key external business partners

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, leading and execution of large teams successfully
  • Ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges
  • Ability to be hands-on and flexible.
  • Technical and/or engineering related experience preferred
  • Familiarity with mobile and/or web retail analytics (third party tools - Omniture, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics)
  • Passion for mobile, retail, technology, and marketing

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 52,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
