Role Summary/Purpose:

As a Full stack web application developer you will be part of a strong product and technology team that is building out rich and innovative product features.

In this role you will help to define the user experience and design of the product and integrate with internal API’s. We use React as the main frontend technology and Python currently powers our API's.

The candidate for this job has strong ReactJS/javascript skills and is able to work across the stack (Python, Mysql).
We see it as important to not only delivery a great user experience, but also write high quality code that is performant, simple and pleasant to work with for your peers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a talented product, design and technology team using an agile process
  • Be a leader, helps us navigate trough he quickly changing frontend landscape
  • Define frontend best practices that we can adopt as a team. this includes testing strategies for web applications.
  • Jump in the server side python code to update API endpoints
  • Write clean, reusable automated-testable React JSX 
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience OR in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience. 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in developing frontends
  • Expert on frontend technologies and shown experience with technologies such as React, Redux and Webpack. You have experienced the abundancy of frontend technology choices and have worked with other frameworks. 
  • Experience with consuming restful api's
  • Mastery of HTML, CSS and Javascript

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with Python, automated deployments and continuous delivery is considered a plus
  • You are passionate about your job and stay on top of frontend technologies
  • Ability to take initiative and share knowledge with the team. 
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intuition and passion for good user experience

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 52,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
